About the commissioning of the application for the cultural series Avantguarda. Experimental Music and Poetry from Catalonia in 2006 we were particularly pleased. Because the emphasis on the experimental in the performances of the various authors and musicians from Catalonia, we felt as an invitation to experiment a little with the graphic design.

Experimental design concept

As graphic designers for event promotion, we developed a visual identity that experimented with typography. We rotated headings and blocks of text in all directions, freeing them from their usual vertical and horizontal corset. Instead of conventional graphic squareness, we designed a typographic poetry that still retained legibility.

Holistic advertising for events, exhibitions and concerts

To advertise this cultural series, which took place in Munich in autumn 2006, a variety of communication media were to be designed in addition to the visual identity. For example, in addition to the game plan, a 10-page leporello, the design of a poster was also part of the order volume.
